Easy to use travel with and great quality

I recently purchased the LG projector and I am incredibly impressed with its compact size and portability. It was so easy to travel with and set up wherever we wanted to watch a movie. The picture quality is fantastic and it adjusts perfectly to fit any screen size. The volume is surprisingly good for a projector of its size and we had no issues hearing the audio clearly during our outdoor movie night. Setting up the projector was a breeze - all we had to do was plug it in connect to WiFi and we were ready to go. The fact that it comes pre-loaded with Disney Prime and Netflix was a huge bonus for us as we didnt have to worry about connecting any additional devices. I just got the LG CineBeam Q 4K UHD Smart Portable Laser Projector Product HU710PB and I LOVE this projector. Firstly its so compact and light. Many projectors are bulky and heavy but this is sleek and stylish which makes it so convenient to transport and use just about anywhere. Also the picture quality is really top notch. I was easily able to connect it to my laptop using HDMI and the picture resolution is top of the line. I also loved how the projector is pre loaded with several major streaming apps so its so convenient to watch movies and shows and not even need to plug it into another device. Minimalist Design Maximum Quality

Incredibly small well-built and aesthetically pleasing this projector is perfect for a minimalist like me. When I first unboxed it I was surprised. It looks like a decorative piece that I can place anywhere in my room. As for the features I love that it auto-focuses and adjusts to the wall which is incredible because I have to place the projector at an angle in my bedroom. It just auto-adjusts perfectly. I also love that it seamlessly connects to my Bluetooth speaker and the projector remote actually controls the speaker. This projector is perfect for me because I never wanted to wall-mount a TV in my bedroom and this is the best option for me. I only have two negative points. One the built-in speakers are not loud enough but thats easily mitigated by using a Bluetooth speaker. I couldnt believe how compact the LG Cinebeam Q 4K projector is Considering its capabilities Im amazed that I can hold it in the palm of my hand. I found the setup to be quite simple and easily connected to my Wifi network and quickly was able to start streaming on all the streaming apps. Im using this in our game room and am really amazed at the image quality and color vibrancy. Best Purchase Ive Made for My Studio

I am a photo studio host and community event organizer. I purchased the CineBeam Q so I could host community movie nights and also have the opportunity to project new scenes while taking photos. I am enjoying the Cine Beam its a sleek and compact projector. Easy to place around the house without taking up too much space. The video quality is great and it has a cool feature where you can adjust the image based on how dark your surroundings are. Worth Every Cent Compact Portable Easy to Use

I have been on the market for a new projector for a while now tried the cheap route to save some money that one died 2 months in so I finally grabbed this LG one and impressed is an understatement. One thing I was worried about when buying it was the price tag because we tend not to spend that much money on electronics it wasnt necessarily a NEED but I think it was worth every penny. For everything that it can do for the overall amazing quality it is at a completely fair price point. I didnt even realize until after buying it that you can log into all of your favorite streaming apps right from the projector. I was under the impression that I would have to plug my laptop in every single time I had to use it which I was fine with and I purchased it thinking that but being able to log into everything right from the device is a game changer. I recently got the LG CineBeam 4K Smart Portable Projector and its perfect for turning our new house into a home theater. Setting it up was super easy with the auto-keystone and the 4K quality is amazingespecially during dark scenes. My wife and I cant wait to use it for family movie nights and its portable size is great for moving it around or even having movie nights by the pool with the kids. My son cant believe that we have the ability to watch such a large picture The built-in speakers are decent but I prefer using my Bluetooth sound system for better sound. The whole setup works smoothly with all my devices which is a huge plus. Overall this projector has seriously leveled up our home entertainment and were excited to build out our home movie theater. Genuinely so surprised at how crisp the picture quality of this projector is. The screen is so bright that I can still easily see with the sunlight coming in or with the big lights on. And Im a visual quality snob. Its super compact and LOVE that it automatically focuses and aligns which makes the set up sooo seamless. The minor things I think could be improved is that its a little annoying needing to point at the projector to use the cursor. While the sound quality is better than cheaper amazon projectors I do wish it was a little louder but maybe itd be better if I used external speakers and not the built in speaker projector. Overall this replaced my need for a TV and think the quality is even better than a TV. So Easy to use and operate literally plug and play. This projector is compact Easy to move from room to room. It has a speaker built-in but you can also connect your sound bar to it. Our favorite feature is the fact that the picture auto adjusts. With a toddler and not the full set up for one yet- if they happen to pick it up or move it it will auto adjust so that way the picture is straight and framed correctly. The picture is great and the kids have loved watching nature videos blown up on the wall. Id love an option to have a battery built in for portable use without being plugged in. The only other con I would say is that the remote has to be pointed at the projector for it to work which is tough if we had it hung up it wouldnt register if we were sitting facing the wall lol. So sharp and colorful

This projector is really good. It only took me maybe 5 minutes to set up. Its light weight and compact which I love because I dont really have anywhere to put it so its not in the way of anything when I use it. The colors are really good and the brightness is surprisingly good even during the daytime with the curtains closed. Everything just works really good. I also like the auto adjust feature it has with the screen. Depending on how far you put it away from the wall or what angle you point it at the wall it will auto adjust to make it level. Compact but impressive

I recently picked up the LG Mini Projector and its been a great addition to my setup. First off its super compact and easy to carry around which is perfect for movie nights on the go or even just moving it from room to room. The picture quality is surprisingly good for its sizebright enough for dim settings and sharp enough for casual viewing. Setting it up was a breeze and I love that it has built-in apps so I didnt need to connect my laptop every time. The speakers are decent though if youre after a more immersive experience Id recommend hooking up external speakers. Battery life is solid for a mini projector too. Overall its a handy little device that punches above its weight in terms of convenience and picture quality. 4/5 due to the price.

Movie nights will never be the same. I have been looking for a projector for a long time and I am so happy I decided to get LG CineBeam Q 4K UHD Smart Portable Laser Projector. First of all I had no idea a projector can be so compact and powerful. The quality of picture is perfect and my husband and I feel like we have our own IMAX at home. Second thing I love - how user-friendly it is. Super easy to set up and start projecting from your phone. You can use built in speakers or connect to any speakers via Bluetooth. Another thing we loved - the projector automatically adjusts the picture to the space you have availble. We projected first on the wall and then purchased a huge screen and LG works perfect on both. I bought it 2 weeks ago. It worked great initially. The picture quality was good the sound was terrible the remote is terrible. Today I came home and it refused to start. I hear its fan spinning for 20 seconds and then it would just shut off. I paid a lot of money for it. I was hoping to use it for years.

Highly recommend this for style and functionality

I love this projector as a movie in bed girl. I wanted to get something sleek yet powerful for watching shows and movies in bed at night with a small light on or in the dark. Exceeded my expectations by a landslide. The picture quality is very high-quality and good in moderate light. Its sleek and very portable so if I wanted to move this into a different room or different wall I can. My critiques are: consider getting an external Bluetooth speaker for this setup. The Bluetooth capabilities are easy to maneuver which is good. But like all projectors the internal built-in speaker is not very powerful. Separately Im surprised that Hulu and HBO Max are not in the App Store. Luckily I have been using airplay to cast it onto the projector with no problems. Overall highly recommended due to both style and functionality. The set up was also simple although I did run into some issues but it was a user error. Does not deserve even one star. My CineBeam stopped working in less than a month power issue. I sent it back for repair more than 2 months ago. But I was told you guys lost the package. I was told Id be contacted regarding the refund. But after over two months and COUNTLESS calls/chats I am still without my refund. I am tired of wasting my time calling you to resolve this with your agents tossing the bucket to one another. Not only is the product a pretty piece of garbage your service is abysmal and you guys should be ashamed that you charge such a high price for it. Horrible product and service. Life aint good with LG for sure.

Amazing quality projector For the size its quite insane how great it looks. Movies and Youtube videos have been great only downside is if you have game consoles like we do in my household it may lag a bit. Its not a crazy problem but I can see a few gamer heads get game rage in the case their game is lagging.

Best 4K portable projector

My husband and I were looking to replace a tv in our back living area and we stumbled on the idea of a home projector. We had taken our first family road trip and it would have been so ideal to be able to have one to take on the go so we can stream the kids favorite movies and shows. This projector is literally what we were looking for. We watched a ton of cost effective projector reviews on YouTube and LG was an easy choice This projector is compact Easy to move from room to room It does have a speaker built-in but you can also connect your sound bar to it But our favorite feature is the fact that the picture auto adjusts. With a toddler and not the full set up for one yet- if they happen to pick it up or move it it will auto adjust so that way the picture is straight and framed correctly. The picture is great and the kids have loved watching nature videos blown up on the wall. I would love in the future if they had an option to have a battery built in where I could take this on the go without being plugged in for use. The only other con I would say is that the remote has to be pointed at the projector for it to work which is tough if we had it hung up it wouldnt register if we were sitting facing the wall lol. But over all we are so beyond pleased with our choice. The kids love it and we are looking forward to more family movie nights

The most beautiful projector with amazing quality

My dream of having backyard movie nights is a REALITY thanks to the LG Cinebeam Q 4K Smart Portable Projector. I have never seen a projector that looks like this before. I love the sleek and aesthetic design its super small 5.5 long and lightweight. It was easy to set up out of the box connected to our home wifi and synced with my phone so we could play a movie. It probably took 5 minutes start to finish The picture quality is AMAZING Its very sharp and the color is very good. We started our movie when it was dusk not completely dark and were still able to see the movie well. I know some people commented on the internal speakers but we honestly dont intend to use them at all its either going to be headphones so we dont annoy the neighbors or a portable speaker to give a cinematic experience. It also shipped perfectly with everything we expected in the box. My one complaint is that the remote only works if you point it exactly at the back not from the front or side which is cumbersome. I literally had to pinch myself last night when we were watching the movie. It was just so amazing It was easy to give this a five-star review and I would give it more stars if I could.

Great Quality not enough streaming platforms

I love this projector. The quality is amazing and so easy to use. The auto adjust feature is great when I move it from room to room. The only downside is that HBO Max Hulu and Crunchyroll are not available. For the price I wish it would have more apps. Huge bummer but hopefully they will get those apps soon.

Much brighter than I expected

I bought this as a present for my daughter. I didnt have high expectations because I had the impression that projectors are not as bright as TVs but the first night I used it I was surprised at the size and brightness of the screen. With modern technology its possible to make things that bright. I just bought it so I dont know how durable it is but so far she and I are very happy with it.

Blurry and too big or too small

CineBeam Q automatically adjusts screen alignment and focussimply place and play... Not working... Also when I put the projector on a shelf the image is too large I put it on the table and it is too small. No way to adjust this I figured this was standard with a projector.

My boyfriend just got me this Cinebeam projector and Im in love with it This is my first time owning a projector so I cant really compare it with other products but I personally think its definitely something anyone could fall in love with The design is so sleek and modern and the build feels really solid. Its super compact and convenient so I carry it everywhere. I had a movie night with my friends used it for night pool party and the most amazing part is when I use it for those fake window screen to fill like im in Hawaiiii. The colors are super vibrant and the details are really sharp and crisp. Its like having a theater right in my own home. Im not a tech savvy person so I was little bit worried about setting it up but it was surprisingly easy I just literally need to plug it in and thats it Wi-fi and bluetooth gets connected instantly so I can stream my daily workout youtube on my wall while I workout. I definitely recommend buying this projector

Having a very small form factor the Cinebeam Q is extremely portable making it very convenient to be used in a variety of places movie nights outdoor in the summer and indoor in the winter or even when traveling. The picture quality is great even in not the darkest of situations. It was very easy and quick to setup. One thing to note is that the auto-alignment did not work great and kept aligning the frame slanted. It was easy to fix this by performing a manual alignment. However when something / someone crossed in-front of the projector the auto-alignment kicked in again and messed up the alignment so the auto-alignment had to be turned off. The WebOS version that is on the Cinebeam Q is an older version than the WebOS running on the LG TVs so if you have an LG TV the experience is different. In addition not all apps are supported on the older version like YouTube TV. The CineBeam Q remote is an IR remote so in case you are sitting in front of it you have to get behind it and point it to the back side of the CinaBeam Q for it to work. Note that to add the CineBeam Q to the ThinQ app you have to add it as if it is a TV. Once added you can control it all from the app eliminating the issue mentioned with the IR remote control.

I was able to use in both well lit areas and darker rooms without compromising the picture quality and color. I had this playing in a wall right next to 3 windows where the blinds were half open. No issues at all. Comes with a remote and built in speaker.

The BEST Portable Projector

The size weight build quality and thoughtful design are not the only impressive features. The top three features I love are: First the autofocus feature. No matter what angle I placed the projector at it automatically adjusted the screen and displayed a perfectly rectangular quality image. It did a phenomenal job adapting the display wherever I placed it. Second the quality and brightness of the projector are remarkable. I expected a loss in quality as I left the curtains open but even with natural light the video quality was excellent. Third the apps for all my streaming services are pre-installed so logging in and going straight to a video was simple and easy. It has Netflix Amazon Prime Video Disney+ and YouTube. All of these features contributed to a fast easy setup for our son to watch his favorite shows while giving mom and dad more time to rest and relax Thank you LG

Perfect for Camping Backyard Movie Night

Full disclosure Im an LG employee so I got a discount on this projector. Its been the perfect upgrade for my camping and backyard setup. The picture quality is great the portability is great and the auto-focus and auto-keystone make it a snap to set up. Also it runs on 45 watts of DC power through the USB-C port so I can power it easily anywhere and I dont have to lug the power brick around. I also love that it connects to two Bluetooth devices at the same time so my wife and I can have movie night in the back yard using headphones and not bother the neighbors. All in all Im very happy with it. I considered taking one star off because the app store is missing a few popular apps and the lack of a carrying case but these are nits. I found an inexpensive camera case on Amazon that works well.

Previously owned a little cheaper Projector from another company that was about $600. But what I like the most about LG CineBeam is that I can watch videos even with lights on or in brighter settings. Sounds itself is good enough as well but I like connecting my speakers with it for better sounding. I like the design as well I can carry this anywhere and watch NBA Playoffs at my friends house or outdoor.

Extreme latency issues

I just received this today and am really disappointed. The latency of web os is just about unusable sometimes taking minutes to respond. I upgraded the software with the same result. And no Hulu? Doesnt make sense. Im regretting this purchase. It could be the best picture ever if I have to wait 5-10 min to get a movie started its not worth the $1k+.

Ok projector depending where you use it

The projector is just OK it does great in low light areas with a light colored wall. The 2 main issues I have with it are the remote is garbage it has to point directly at the front of the projector anytime you want to use it. The 2nd issue is it has trouble auto adjusting on any kind of color except white. I have an accent wall in my bedroom that is a very light red and it could never auto adjust correctly. If i use it on a plain white wall it works fantastic. For what im using it for in a dark room its great but it does have its flaws.

What I Was Looking For

Overall it is a great product. It serves its purpose for exactly what I need especially at its price point. I love that its easy to use as I am not the biggest tech person. I liked that I didnt have to download apps to use it it already came equipped with the apps I already use Netflix YouTube etc.. The small and compact nature of it makes it very portable to move around the house. One drawback that I could think of is that it requires wall power. This limits the actual location where I can use my projector. Also the projector must be in sight for the IR remote to function as opposed to the radio frequency remote where you dont have to aim it at anything. All in all Im excited to incorporate this projector into my weekly date night activity with my significant other.
