I had no idea that cooktop technology was so advanced. I can prepare meals quicker and safer now. Temperature control of my old unit was hit & miss but Samsung's temperature settings can be trusted and temperature response time is very quick. I never forget and walk away with a burner on now, thanks to indication lighting under and above each burner control knob. I use my griddle much more than I ever thought because its quick and easy to clean. I can't believe I have five burners and ample cooking space. I am happy I selected this Samsung product.

Though we loved the layout of the cooktop. the large oversized burnerin the center does not engage regularly when we turn on the gas.. We clean the igniter but it only works randomly

I had this cooktop for more than a year. So far, it's working great without any issue. Iron racks are thick and sturdy. It has luxurious look and feel that goes well with my kitchen. The center burner is very powerful.

We bought this a few months ago and are so happy. Our old cooktop, was poorly designed. The knobs melted and we replaced them twice. This designed to keep the heat away from the knobs. Plus, they light up to let you know they are turned on.

I purchased this cooktop and decided to go with this option because all of my other Samsung appliances have Wi-Fi connectivity. When it was time to install, not only did the was it too large for my cutout (even though my old cooktop was also 30 inches) but the module did not fit because of the backsplash. Turns out the installer says this happens 90% of the time and they had to remove the module. Now i ended up paying for a premium product to get a feature that i now can't even use. No mention of extra space needed for the module was ever mentioned.

Overall, I have been satisfied with the cooktop. The design is good, grates are heavy and well-placed vis-à-vis the burners. I find the central burner suitable for cooking pasta, but a little under-powered for stir-fry cooking.
The dials are well positioned and brightly lit with a blue ring to indicate that the burner is on. The burners light quickly and there are an infinite number of flame settings that can be dialed in. The simmer burner in the middle of the two-stage central burner works very well for simmering soup over many hours.
The top-right burner is tiny and designed for gently simmering sauces. I'm not certain how much I will use it, but time will tell.
I removed the WiFi attachment as it would not fit with a downdraft fan placed at the rear of the cooktop. Seriously, I am not convinced the cooktop needs to provide remote control or information via WiFi.
One installation note: the gas regulator is vertically situated at the right-rear of the unit. If you have a downdraft fan at the rear, you may need a 90-degree elbow in order to install the regulator.

This Samsung Stainless 5 Burner Cooktop has wonderful design. 5 different sizes of burners are great. The larger burners up front and the smaller burners in the back give me more space and time.
It has LED light around and on the gas knobtop valve. So it can be recognizable easily it is on or off even not in front of cooktop.
And it has very simple structure to clean the cooktop.
I was purchasing this a replacement for an existing unit was too old and not working well. Now my concern is gone and pleasure is mine.
After replacement I and my spouse love to cook everyday with Samsung Stainless 5 Burner Cooktop.
Thank you Samsung. I love it.

What I love most about this cooktop is the smarthing feature. . I sometimes forget to turn of the stove but with this feature, there's no question if a burner is on or off. The blue LED Illuminated Knobs lets me know immediately if the burner is on. If I am out of the house, I can pull up the app and know which burner is on or not. I really like that!! The sealed burners make for such an easy clean up. Thanks Samsung for making this stove easy to clean and know when it is on!!!

First of all, I think Samsung 30 Stainless 5 Burner Cooktop is the most beautiful design of cooktop. The only changing cooktop, looks like we did big remodeling in our kitchen.
This cooktop has a great 5 burner with wide range of power. The center of burner cooks and boils super-fast and I am pretty sure we use this burner more often. Especially the big burner is the best to cook food with Wok. Depends on what dish I cook, can choose the level of power of burner.
This cooktop size is similar size compare to my previous cooktop but I feel more room to cook due to the layout of burner.
The favorite part of this cooktop is the blue light knobs when it turns on, and it is super awesome for the safety issue for someone has young kids like me and also the pretty color of blue knobs makes more modern and luxurious cooktop.
Another favorite part of this cooktop is griddle. We can cook egg, bread and bacon on the griddle and cream soup on cooktop together. It is really good harmony in the morning.
This cooktop is very easy to clean because It is very easy to disassemble and also food debris can not go inside of burner because burner cap is covering all the small opening.
Good job Samsung!

I received the NA30N6555TS/AA 30? gas cooktop as part of a promotion and overall it has been amazing. To me, a stove was a stove. You put a pot or pan on it and you cook. It never occurred to me how much I would love features I didn?t even think about before.
Let me start with what I love about the cooktop:
1. The LED illuminated knobs. What I love about these knobs is that when the stove is on, they are a bright blue. Coming from the perspective of a mom who is being pulled in all different directions while cooking, this feature gives me a piece of mind that I remembered to turn the cooktop off. I can look from across the room and know it is off.
2. The griddle is another favorite part of mine. I never imagined myself as a griddle user, but it may be one of the cooktop parts I use the most. It was so easy to make eggs, pancakes, quesadillas, and crispy cheese!
3. The design: the design is sleek
Here is what I like:
1. The power: I can tell the heating power strength of this cooktop is a bit stronger than my previous cooktop, but not significantly enough for me to identify it as a love feature.
2. The wi-fi connectivity: I like this because if I?m not in the kitchen and I question if all the burners are off, I can check my phone to see. I haven?t found that I use that feature a lot. Maybe if I was able to control turning it off and on from my phone ? but that?s probably too much to ask for. So for now the feature in my opinion is just a nice to have.
Here is what I didn?t like:
1. The manual said included was an aluminum griddle and wok grate, but ours didn?t come with it. There was an * that said if you need to buy those parts you can call Samsung. I thought it was odd to say it was included, but then also say you need to buy it.
Overall, my experience so far would recommend this cooktop.

I cook several times a day, and needed to replace the unit that came with the house. The lettering was wearing off and a knob was broken, etc. I needed something heavy-duty that has a premium look. Wow did we choose well!
The 5 burners and total cooking surface area of the 30" wide model are just enough for me. The burners have great BTU rating and ignite easy. The install was done by a professional since it is gas, but I watched and it was a straight forward process. We chose the normal silver stainless steel finish and it cleans easy enough. I like the blueish accent lights under the knobs when a burner is lit. The cooktop is very versatile and I appreciate the included cast iron skillet.
My husband likes the SmartThings app, and this does connect to it. We have an OTR microwave, but someday I want to have a high flow hood there. This cooktop model pairs via Bluetooth to its' matching hood, so it is nice to see that Samsung is really pulling out the stops in these new models.

I upgraded from a Glass Cooktop that had only 4 burners and the knobs on the right side. The layout on this unit with 5 burners and the knobs on the front is great! I have more room than I had previously. The stainless steel is a breeze to keep clean as well compared to my old glass unit.
The griddle that comes with the cooktop is amazing. Cooked food fast and thoroughly. The french toast and grilled cheese sandwiches came out with a nice, dark color but not burned.
The blue LED lights when you turn on a burner is a nice look and lets' know easily which burner is on.
The burners heat up the pans quickly and get you cooking quickly.
There is a Wi-Fi feature to connect to Smart Things but you can't control anything. It allows you to see which burner is on and there is a kitchen timer in the app. Just make sure when you buy this unit, to account for the WiFi module does stick out on the backside of the cooktop and could be problem installing in some cases as the module may hit the backsplash.
You won't regret buying this unit.

This unit replaced a much older (original to the house) 4-burner gas cook top that was getting very old. My wife cooks 1-2 times a day and so we really put this thing through its' paces. The burners provide excellent heat control. I wasn't sure about having the knobs in the front, verses on the side like before, but the heavy cast-iron grates keep skillets/pans up high enough there is no interference when sliding items around. The surface area is sectioned into 3 rectangular grates.
The SmartThings app connectivity is pretty neat, but there is no control only monitoring; it will only tell you if a burner is on/off. When connected, a soft blue light on the right side of the cook top remains on 24/7. It would be nice if the app let you turn that indicator light off.
The unit came with a cast-iron skillet (rectangular, about 1/3 of surface area) that once seasoned, is a great addition! The overall look, feel and finish is top notch. Samsung really went out of their way to set this cook top above the competition!

Bought this a week ago and smelled electrical burning in the control knobs when and off. Having it replaced. Heat nice and looks nice. We'll see if the one has the same problem.
