this hood is very sleek looking and has good functionality. i just installed it today so it's too soon to comment on reliability but i'm hopeful.
installation however was not great. the instructions tell you to mount the chimney bracket flush with the ceiling, but when i did so, the holes in that bracket and the holes in the chimney for screws do not line up with one another. the interlocking chimney sections also scratched the finish of each other when i had to lower it back down because they did not line up.
the entire unit is also wrapped in a "laser film" that is waaaayyy too sticky. not only is removing it an arduous endeavor, but it will leave your unit covered in fingerprints despite it being billed as fingerprint resistant.

The hood was easy to install. The fan is strong on higher settings, but low setting is quiet and still pulls out smoke.

A Gorgeous Hood That Needs a Little Tweaking!

We purchased the hood with a complete kitchen suite: fridge, range, dishwasher, and microwave. Everything was fully installed in June 2019. We cook Asian cuisine every day 2 to 3 times a day. Most of the food, cooked with fish sauce and a lot of garlic which give off a very aromatic yet pungent smell. We spent over $1100 on this hood in the hope of lessening the odor in the home. It does not---not much anyway. We typically have it at the highest setting---boost---for about 20 minutes. So at this point, we still have to open all the windows on the first floor of the house when cooking.
The plus side of the hood is that it's good looking and very easy to clean, including the filter. The noise level is not too bad unless it is in the highest setting---boost.
Would we recommend this to a friend or re-buy it? Probably not---at least not at its current price.

Had this hood installed a couple of months ago. Works great and looks awesome. Top quality exhaust system. Haven't used the bluetooth feature yet but I'm sure it will work fine.

i installed it, but as i slide the upper extension up the lower section scratched the upper extension all the way up. laser cut stainless steel leaves jagged edges.

the unit is only 2 years old and it already broke down. the vent stopped working but buttons and light both work. unfortunetily the warranty is over and i am left with paying for the repairs myself.

when it came out of the box it was missing the letter m in logo. i will have to send the whole thing back or scrape off all the other letters.
