i enjoyed this stove until today. my daughter in law attempted to "preheat the oven," with no success. i purchased from lowe's special order and picked up august 06, 2018, set it in my kitchen for approximately 2 months, until i was able to plum my kitchen with gas. i made the additional purchase of $79.97 for the 3 year extended warranty. this must be a "smart gas range," knowing the warranty had expired. oven will not light in either bake mode. self clean will not light, but it will lock the door. the "broiler" will light, as will all 5 top burners. i also unplugged for 30 seconds, just trying to do an electric reset. i just purchased my 3rd samsung smart tv, this one is a "75 inch qled." rethinking extended warranty on that tv. range: m/c: nx58m5600sb s/n: 0fdr7ddk200217x

our 13 month old gas oven will not hold the temperature unless it is in convection mode. we had to keep turning it back on to get our thanksgiving meal baked. ovens have been able to keep the right heat for over 50 years but now samsung has broken new ground with this new product.

i have always trusted the samsung electronics, but after my experience with this range, i will never buy another samsung appliance. i had this range for 1 year and 2 months (translation 2 months past the warranty) when i used the self-cleaning mode for the first time. it fried out the internal thermostat. samsung refused to cover any part of it because it was out of warranty, wanted $120 just to come and look at it (this would not include cost of repair/labor), and could not come an look for a month. i found the part online for $58 it was here in two days and fixed it myself.

bought in oct 2016 from sears. functionally no issues. but 2 of 5 knobs have become wobbly and need to be replaced. expected better quality from samsung.

Samsung has never let me down, from my new stove to my computer monitors I am always amazed at the quality and how long they can last. Our old stove (different brand) was only a few years old and was impossible to regulate the temperature on. My wife became so skeptical that she moved her oven thermometer into this one when we got it just to be safe. After a few uses and verifying the temperature was right on every time she got rid of the oven thermometer and became a firm believer that this stove was the real deal. The 5 burner design with the stove top griddle is an amazing feature. Will never purchase a different brand again.

This stove came with my home and I absolutely love it! As with gas, it heats quickly and is easily controlled. Since I'm not keen on baking with convection, I use it to heat my oven then switch to baking. Cuts my pre-heating time significantly. Just saw a proofing button too to help with bread, but haven't tried it yet.
