we've had to have the repairperson fix our stove, purchased in 2018, multiple times. we've had problems with burners and problems with the oven not working. of course the oven and range always seem to fail when we have guests on their way. there's no way i would buy another samsung stove. my mother bought an lg stove years ago and hasn't had a single issue. when it does work, however, it works well. but it's unreliable.

Heat Sensor on oven broke after just over a year

We have had this oven/range for just over a year and already the oven doesn't work. the heat sensor (error c-20) is being shown. none of our local repair people will come out because they say its very difficult to get parts or support from samsung. we are so upset as this is just out of warranty.

the panel melted after broiler use!!!! i called for service as it was still under warranty and was told there was no service center in my area and basically out of luck.. been living with a melted panel and now months later the oven won't come on. i'm beyond disappointed. called samsung again as this seems like an issue if you read reviews. i assume not everyone broils or i bet the reviews would reflect this a lot more.

Knobs are cheaply made and break

bought this range in august of 2018, within a year, two of the stems on the control knobs had broken. i contacted samsung and was sent tow replacements under warranty. within 3 months of receiving the new knobs, two more of the original knobs stems had broken. since the stove was now past the one year warranty, all samsung could offer was i could buy two replacement knobs at the cost of $65 each. i declined and made do...a bit frustrating that these defective or poorly made knobs cost so much. now today another knobs stem has broken. i started to leave this review, and the site asked me to call samsung to give them a chance to make it right. i did and was told that since the range was out of warranty, they could offer nothing.

this oven is a complete danger. it started overheating to the point of not being able to event touch the control panel. one of my kids burned their hand on it before i realized. panel then melted and oven locked. tech came out and thought it was fixed but it continued the same issue. unbelievably disappointed that this oven is still on the market as i read countless reviews of this safety issue.

I bought MY SAMSUNG FREE STANDING NX58R6631SS RANGE 6 months ago and i am so happy with its features.The main reason i choose the two front burner with 16000 and 18000 btu power burner. Before buying this i compare different brand and different ranges but this was the only one that has 16k btu left front buner. I bought this to replace a 12 year old Fridigaire .It took forever to preheat the oven. Turned bread making into an all day affair. My new Samsung has a breadproofing feature that now frees up a half a day. I love it! The burner grills are a bit off putting because only certain size pans fit on some burners. But it is so much better

Well overall the range is great...looks nice...cooked good...until it didn't... It is a bit disappointing that the burner inside the stove failed only after 2 years of very mild use.. The samsung wanted to charge us $120 just for the technician to show up $95 for service plus parts....ummm, no thank you! We got it fixed for $135 by a friend... Maybe you will be more lucky with your unit

my house and kitchen is all samsung, and like the rest of my samsung appliances in my kitchen, this oven went to crap as soon as the warranty was up. it now takes upwards of a half hour to 45min to heat up. its only two years old. my samsung 4 door fridge has a leaky ice maker that needs defrosting every week (its been serviced multiple times) and the microwave door is starting to rattle. and while im on it, samsung fix your input box on your 4k tvs, im sick of my screen flickering from various hd inputs.

my disappointment is the design of the stovetop grates... im not able to use the pots and that are 3, 4 and 5 inches in diameter. i was shocked to see that the pot does not sit properly in the center of the burner due to the large gaps in the grates! the only way is to offset them over the grates! .... i am very shocked that samsung would manufacture stove grates that do not accommodate all sizes of pots and pans!!!!

we had a relatively new electic range that my wife was terribly unhappy with espically the oven. i was tired of not having her delicous baked goods so finally agreed to go back to a gas appliance. although i am gaining weigh by the day it seems, my wife is estatic shes back to the baking queen again. the entire range is well build and funtions beautifully. the high power right front burner is wonderful as well... boiling water for pasta or anything is a snap. the convection and other options are a plus . overall...was an excellent buy

I bought this a while ago and was very excited to try out the convection part of the oven. Tried it a few times and loved it. Only gripe I would have about this oven, and it's more personal than anything, is you have to place what you're going to cook on a specific rack height to cook properly. Besides that I would definitely recommend this range the burners are awesome.

Samsung Range I bought this in April 2019 and it was finally delivered to me one month later, in May, because they couldn't find a plumber to connect the range to the gas line. But to talk about the range itself, it cooks really well, it looks very pretty, I even like the blue lead lights, but it it's very high maintenance as far as cleaning it. You can see anything and everything on it. Also, the grills on top are already scratched up, looking silverish instead of black. For the oven, I haven't had the guts to use the self-clean feature. I would buy this range again but most likely a lighter color or even white.
